Mr. Feeny Actor, 98, Makes Rare Appearance on 'DWTS'
William Daniels -- beloved for his role as Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World -- made a rare appearance to support one of his former students.
Daniels, 98, appeared on stage on Tuesday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars as Danielle Fishel and partner Pasha Pashkov honored the acting legend with a dedicated Jive set to the show's theme song.
The iconic TV teacher stood against a makeshift principal's desk ahead of the pair's dance routine.
"Saying it out loud feels crazy, but yes, we get to dance to the Boy Meets World theme song, the one you all know and love," Fishel said on the October 8 episode of her podcast, "Danielle with the Stars." "And Bill Daniels is going to be on the ballroom floor with us, and I'm so excited."
Fishel and Pashkov scored a 29 out of 40, with judge Derek Hough calling it "lively, light [and] lovable."
In addition to Daniels, former Boy Meets World stars Will Friedle, William Russ, Betsy Randle, Matthew Lawrence, Alex Désert, and Trina McGee were in attendance.
"He’s just somebody I have looked up to as a man, as an actor, as a professional," the Girl Meets World actress said ahead of her dance. "It’s been over 30 years since we met and I know how proud he is of me. He really means a lot to me."
Tuesday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars broke records, reportedly surpassing 50,000,000 votes for the first time ever.
