First Video Emerges of NFL Announcer Mark Sanchez After Stabbing
Mark Sanchez was booked into jail in Indiana Sunday morning after being released from the hospital following last weekend's bizarre incident which led to the former quarterback getting stabbed and later arrested.
Max Lewis of FOX59/CBS4 Indianapolis shared footage from outside of Marion County Jail, where Sanchez was fingerprinted and posed for a mugshot Sunday.
The FOX NFL analyst had to go through these procedures in order to be able to leave the state of Indiana, Lewis said.

In another clip shared by Lewis, Sanchez was asked for comment and said he is "focused on my recovery" and was "recovering slowly." He also thanked the first responders, doctors and other medical personnel who treated him last week.
"Sorry I can't answer all your questions," Sanchez added.

Sanchez facing multiple charges
Sunday's proceedings were the latest in a bizarre saga that began last Friday night in Indianapolis and likely won't end for some time.
Sanchez, 38, got into an altercation with Perry Tole, a 69-year-old delivery truck driver, in the alley near The Westin hotel in Indianapolis. The former NFL first-round pick reportedly took exception to where Tole parked his truck, and a lawsuit filed on behalf of the Tole claims Sanchez “appeared intoxicated” and “instigated a confrontation," which turned physical.
Tole stabbed Sanchez, which he argues was done in self-defense. The driver's lawsuit also says he suffered “significant injuries to his head, jaw, and neck” as a result of Sanchez's attack.
Sanchez was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, where he was later arrested and originally charged with three misdemeanors: battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication in connection.
However, Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears later announced Monday morning that a fourth charge had been added, battery involving a serious bodily injury, a Level 5 felony that carries the possibility of 1-to-6 years in prison.
Sanchez has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Sanchez was in town on assignment for FOX
Last Sunday, Sanchez was scheduled to call the game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Indianapolis Colts for FOX, but Friday's events obviously made that impossible. He was eventually replaced in the booth by Brady Quinn.
FOX has also been named in Tole's lawsuit, which argues that the network should have been aware of “unfitness as an employee, propensity for drinking and/or harmful conduct.”
