Viral Trader Joe’s Mini Totes Return With a Twist

Fans went crazy when Trader Joe's released their mini tote bags in fun spring colors in 2024. Diehard fans can likely expect the same frenzy when the grocer drops their latest collection.

TJ's mini tote bags are set to hit stores on Wednesday, October 8, just in time for spooky season. The 13 x 11 x 6 inch canvas bags will have a Halloween theme upon release.

The bags come in four color options: solid black, solid orange, solid purple and a black bag with purple, orange and green accents.

If the previous drop is any indication, shoppers can expect excessively long lines before the store opens. Lines for the first collection wrapped around the building in many locations as resellers loaded their carts and immediately listed their finds for exponentially more on sites like eBay.

Subsequent drops in September 2024 and April 2025 were met with similar fervor.

Trader Joe's reportedly confirmed that each store will be expected to receive 250 cases of 50 bags each, the Reno Gazette Journal claimed.
