Jerry Rice’s G.O.A.T Fuel Sports Drinks Promise ‘No Crash’, Just Hydration and Game-Day Energy
While supermarket shelves are lined with energy drinks, few have added hydration and functional benefits. Jerry Rice, all-star NFL wide receiver who most famously played for the San Francisco 49ers, has launched a specialty sports energy drink brand. G.O.A.T. Fuel, short for “greatest of all time”, is a “lifestyle brand focused on bringing health-forward, innovative products and a G.O.A.T. mindset to consumers”. While their target audience is athletes and fitness-focused individuals, they claim their products are for “anyone striving to be great”.
In line with the goal of offering a beverage that can fuel greatness, the recipe in each can includes electrolytes, a variety of vitamins and minerals, cordyceps mushrooms, 200-mg of natural caffeine, branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) and antioxidants.
If you’re not familiar with cordyceps mushrooms, they are a type of fungi used in traditional medicine that may boost immunity, improve energy, regulate blood sugar, promote anti-aging, improve athletic performance by enhancing oxygen use and support kidney function, according to Cleveland Clinic. While their function may be powerful, G.O.A.T. Fuel states you “won’t taste them, but you’ll feel them”.
Their drinks lineup includes the ever-popular G.O.A.T. Legacy Editions, which showcase three greatest of all time athletes with coordinating fruity flavors. These include Babe Ruth Edition Blueberry Lemonade, Jerry Rice Edition Tropical Berry and Muhammad Ali Edition Watermelon Fruit Punch.
G.O.A.T. Fuel Energy Sports Drinks Are Energizing, Hydrating and Functional
Jerry Rice and his family of founders wanted to showcase athletes who were the greatest in their sport, and in this case that means baseball, football and boxing.
Also in the lineup are Peach Pineapple, Gummy Bear, Black Cherry GInger Ale and Pineapple Cream Soda. Some of the flavors are offered individually and others come in a variety pack, including the Limited-Time Only, Legend and Superstar 12-packs. They each retail for $35.99 on G.O.A.T. Fuel’s website, and you can also find them at 7-Eleven, Publix, H-E-B, Target, Walmart and other retailers. They are also sold at some Crunch Fitness and Gold’s Gym locations.
