Aldi's Trio of German Condiments Are Back, and Fans Are Saying They're 'Amazing' and 'Delicious on Brats'
Aldi is planning for its bi-annual German Week, a limited-time event that brings multiple German food products into the store for sale. It generally includes authentic spaetzle, strudel, schnitzel and German salty, savory and sweet snacks and treats. The slew of this year’s products will be introduced on September 17.
One of the most popular items on the list are Aldi brand Inglehoffer condiments, including Sweet Honey Mustard, Cream-Style Horseradish and Original Stone Ground Mustard. The horseradish and stone ground mustard are gluten-free, while the honey mustard is not.
How to Serve Award-Winning Mustards and Horseradish
Not only are these condiments a shopper-favorite, two of the three are award-winning. Both the Sweet Honey Mustard and Original Stone Ground Mustard are Gold Medal Winners in the Napa Valley World Mustard Championships. The Cream-Style Horseradish bottle is adorned with the label of “America’s First Creamy Horseradish”. Each bottle retails for $2.84, which seems like a steal given their status.
We think these condiments would go strikingly well on roast beef, prime rib, short ribs, steak, pork chops, ham, salmon, shrimp and on sandwiches like a French dip, reuben and burgers, in egg and tuna salad and swirled into mashed potatoes for a little extra flair.
What Are Fans Saying About Inglehoffer German Condiments?
“The horseradish cream is DELICIOUS on a bratwurst with sauerkraut (if you like it) and a little shredded cheese”, exclaimed another. “The stone ground is great in potato salad!” and “The stone ground is our favorite”, said two fans. And, “best honey mustard! Grab a few”.
With past German Week drops, fans have taken to social media to share their affection towards these condiments. “I know this might sound weird, but try the horseradish on a smoked turkey sandwich. So good”, said one person.
