Popular Chicken Nuggets Get a Game Day Makeover for Football Season
While all eyes are glued to the gridiron for every epic down, football fans crave flavorful and fun food to keep them satisfied through all four quarters. Tyson unveils new chicken nuggets that have fandoms cheering for an extra serving.
The phrase might be overused, but across the food world one aspect is common. The camera eats first. From a craveble cheese pull to a vibrantly colored dish, people eat with their eyes. Tyson is leaning into that visual component with its new chicken nuggets.
Three Football Teams Cheer for These New Tyson Chicken Nuggets.
To kick off the NFL season, Tyson added three new shaped chicken nuggets to its line-up. The offerings are in partnership with the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. Each one is either shaped like the team’s logo or football themed.
The chicken nuggets are made with all-white chicken. The Green Bay Packers item is a cheesy nugget. For that item, the chicken is combined with cheddar cheese. The nuggets can be cooked in the oven, microwave or air fryer.

According to Kristina Lambert, Chief Growth Officer, Tyson Foods. “As loyal fans seek out new ways to showcase their team pride, we welcome the Broncos, Packers and Eagles to our custom nugget lineup where we deliver fun and flavorful ways to celebrate fandom.”
These three new shapes join the previously released Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs options. These football themed nuggets will be available at various NFL stadiums and will arrive in stores in September.
Green Bay Packers Go Celebrate Its Tyson Partnership.
While football fans are excited to serve the new Tyson chicken nuggets at their own watching parties, football stadiums serve them, too. The Green Bay Packers bet that people will be lining up for a taste of the Tyson Cheesy Nuggets.
As both the Official Nugget of the Green Bay Packers and the Official Protein of the Green Bay Packers, the football team believes that fans will want to enjoy a serving of these cheesy nuggets both in and outside of Lambeau Field.
According to a joint Tyson and Packers press release, the food is meant to celebrate Wisconsin’s cheese heritage as well as a simple, tasty food that appeals to all types of football fans. Lambeau Field will be serving chicken nuggets at select concession stands.
While chicken nuggets are a classic dish, the food invites football fans to showcase their creative side with unique recipes. Whether it is a version of totachos, a sub or a themed appetizer board, there are plenty of tailgating and game day ideas that will earn cheers from fans.
