Solid winds in Ottawa today, 20250127

Mother Nature delivered the goods with some very heavy winds and crazy gusts. I dropped by Britannia to grab some photos and experience the power of the winds as they swept across the frozen Ottawa river. Stanley was riding a small 4 meter kite that was propelling at tremendous speed across the ice and snow. He was joined by a few Wing pilots, not many people out testing the wind today. The sun played a game of peek a boo with us, awesome light when it poked through the clouds, overall I liked the moody grey skies and swirling snow, great atmosphere. Such a great time making images.
