Albert Avenue Refurbishment
The Albert Avenue Pools Complex will close for refurbishment on 17th October 2021.
The refurbishment will see a number of changes to the site:
- New changing rooms
- New reception area
- Refurbished outdoor pool
It is expected that the work will take 18 months and during this period Kingston Kayak Club will not be able to use the outdoor or indoor pools: however, we will still have access to the Club House and the Storage.
The Club will continue to operate away from our Club House, with activities taking place on the 1st and 3rd weekend of every month as a minimum.
All events will be advertised through our Club’s newsletter, so please ensure you are signed up.

We will continue to develop our coaches. We have set up a Facebook group called KKC Coach Development. This will allow us to have discussion about the qualification. It won’t be restricted to Facebook only, but is a good starting point.
