Five years in the Shadows
Well I've been a Member on here since 2014 and never posted...
I thought it was about time I did.
The Names Jordan, I live in Askam in Furness South Cumbria. I originally joined in Sep 2014 as I've always been interested in getting on the water but life, finances and other hobbies seemed to put it on hold.
Today I ordered my first Open Canoe, Venture Prospector 165 (yellow), I've paddled in the past but never owned my own boat, I've really enjoyed reading peoples blogs from adventuring on the Lochs of the Highlands.
Being a regular visitor to Scotland on Climbing trips I'm now in the process of Planning a weeks trip later this Year with the Mrs and Two Little Paddlers in toe. Any good tips on travelling with young ens (good stuff to take) would be much appreciated.
Also if you see what looks like a 12 year old boy (I'm nearly 29) and His Dog/s paddling around the Lake District in a Yellow Venture give me a wave!
