Over 500 paddlers, Europe’s biggest whitewater event! For just one weekend every March hundreds of students from all across the UK descend on the National White Water Centre, at Holme Pierrepont for a weekend of kayaking, partying and carnage.
First day on the river for the SEND crew who flew out to Indonesia to find some waterfalls and the first one of the trip was a 70 footer beauty! In less than 24 hours after landing the boys dealt with high water levels, jet lag, a flashflood, and ants attack… a rather crazy experience.

We have had a relatively warm Winter in Western North Carolina. While we have had a few surprise snow days, high water, and summer-like storms we have also had many beautiful days in the 60 and even 70 degree range.
