Local break in

Last night 9/10th July Peterborough Scout and Guide Group suffered a break in at the Scout Canoe Stores at Milton Ferry, Peterborough.

The thieves forced entry into the ex Pumping Stn building damaging the doors and threw canoeing equipment in the river and generally around the area

Today they have been so busy repairing the building doors and recovering equipment that at the moment there has not been a chance to do a complete Inventory.

But they are missing 2 new single person Sit on Tops (Black High Back rest seats) (Both Boats are Red) and only purchased a couple of weeks ago and a Solo Open Boat (Hou Canoe) (Red) purchased a month ago plus numerous kayak paddles and some Buoyancy Aids all will be marked PSCC or PSGCC. 

They have also lost 3 Canoe Paddles belonging to one of the instructors; 1 Wood Beaver Paddle,1 Kevlar Sugar Loaf Paddle and 1 Black handled standard Plastic Paddle all for a tall paddler

If you see any kit being advertised locally or are offered anything that seems suspicious please let me know asap. Remember the mantra - ' If it seems too good to be true it probably is.'
