Paddle time at Bate Island – 20250517

What was supposed to be a solid day of rain turned out to be pretty decent weather, overcast but no rain for most of the afternoon. I stopped at Bate Island to see what was happening with the whitewater crowd, the waves looked pretty good with the still high water levels. I ran into a couple old friends, Peter, Tyler and Ronnie, plus had loads of targets to capture in my view finder. There were playboats, slalom kayaks, SUP’s and river surfers all enjoying the waves.The drone went up for a few frames and some video.
