First canoe paddle of the 2025 season

It was a beautiful evening for my first canoe outing of 2025. I paddled on the nearby Jock River, a small creek style river. The early evening light was great with loads of sun streaming through the tree lined river bank. I saw three muskrats and at least five beavers enjoying the waterway. A few patches of Trilliums were in full bloom along the river as well.
