Chasing the aurora in the night sky 20240511

Ann-Marie and I headed out to see and capture the aurora in the far west of the Ottawa region. I had hoped to get a chance to watch and photograph from the Constance bay beach but it was way to packed to even venture into the area. Our route took us to the roadside near Fitzroy and Carp ridge, fantastic to watch the light show from these locations. The best colour and motion seemed to begin around 1:00 am, we called it a night by 2:00 am.
