« Without having too much of a plan a flock of us Kiwis flew to the West Coast of America in search of some of the best whitewater around. While there was a lot of jangling and some marginal chat we were fortunately adopted by some locals and shown down the stouts. We ended up starting off in White Salmon while we waited for the record-breaking snowpack to settle down a bit before making our way down to California. »
