Southwestern Arkansas in the Winter

Going to be in southwestern Arkansas from November-March and I was wondering if anyone has any experience boating(we're R2ing paddlecat) anywhere around there. I found the Cossatot, which according to the gauge looks like it runs in the winter dependent on rain events. Does anybody know of anything else? Preferably under 3 hours away, I'll be close to Ashdown, AR. Doesn't look like there's much, but I thought I'd ask.
