NRS Canyon Dry Box (plastic) in frame for Super Puma?

I'm setting up my Super Puma with a 3 bay frame (cutting down an NRS Compact Outfitter) and I'm thinking about using the NRS Canyon Dry box in one of the bays. Has anyone used this dry box in a raft frame?
It seems like it is going to sit a little high because of the location of the flange on the dry box and I'm wondering how strong that flange is (could it support someone sitting on the box while the flange rests on the frame?) Thanks for any input.
