Suggest rivers for April/May

I’m looking for suggestions. I would like to get a trip or two in over the next month or so. I would consider myself a new rafter. I live in the Denver area and am willing to drive 5ish hours. I’m taking a white water rescue and paddling class and in June but I don’t want to wait that long to get out. Thanks for your ideas!
