Bike shuttle possibilities on upper Colorado and any camping recommendations near Glenwood Springs

Just checking to see if it’s possible and/or recommended or not (hills, narrow roads and/or traffic) to do a self bike shuttle from Rancho and/or State Bridge back to Pumphouse? Then again from Dotsero back to a possible put in a little ways up river? By the looks of things a bike shuttle looks pretty good from Glenwood Springs up river via the bike trail. Also, anyone have a recommendation on a camp site near Glenwood Springs that would be possible to get on a Friday/Saturday nights? Thanks!
