Which console should I buy?

Hello everyone
Have a quick question and hopefully I will get a quick answer too.
For days I am searching for an interesting console for my 8-year-old son. Of course, I came to Nintendo ... Since in my childhood this console was the best thing out there.
The question now is: Which console should I buy? For me the most interesting consoles are these two:
