Public Lands Day, created by the National Environmental Education Foundation and first celebrated in 1994, was established to promote recreation on and the protection of public lands through volunteerism. For those that can’t get out to volunteer on Public Lands Day, OIA has partnered with outdoor industry brands to offer an alternative way to support public lands promotion and protection.
