We paddle for various reasons, this student of JMU kayaked waters of Lynnhaven River and her intent on it was to conserve the oyster population!! She has studied them and designed artificial oyster reefs for the little oysters to cling and grow. It was placed by her and her faculty on Lynnhaven River and they have plans to place it on Chesapeake Bay. All these they did and will do paddling the waters on their kayaks.
