Frankie Kowaas had done a lot for growing the sport of rafting in Indonesia. This passionate rafter was instrumental in establishing the 1st branch of the Indonesian Rafting Federation (FAJI) in North Sulawesi, Indonesia and under his direction Indonesia competed for the first time at the 2001 IRF World Rafting Championship in West Virginia, USA. However, he has sadly passed away, here is his story telling us about his unstoppable passion for adventures that has inspired us in so many ways.
