The Paddler ezine: The 715 km Yukon River Quest has record number of registrations this year

The 19th annual Yukon River Quest is all set to take place on June 28 where participants paddle 444 miles from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada to Dawson City. This year has record number of registrations since the Quest began in 1999. There are 96 teams with 234 paddlers from all over the world participating in this Quest. There would be cash prizes but most of us would race for honour to complete the quest which itself is something to be proud of.
