Boxing Star Reveals Insane Way He Cut Weight Ahead of Rematch
Chris Eubank Jr. learned his lesson, likely because that lesson proved costly. Literally.
The boxing star on Friday shared videos of the incredible lengths he went to make weight ahead of his rematch with Conor Benn on Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The 36-year-old practically turned into a mummy, wrapping himself in a sweatsuit inside a sleeping bag. He also had about half a dozen blankets on top of him. The video shows him getting unwrapped in the self-made sauna, and Eubank Jr. is dripping in sweat.

At some point, Eubank Jr. hopped on a stationary bike and went to town while wearing a sweatsuit. If you're wondering why he went to these lengths, it's important to remember what happened the last time he faced Benn, the British boxer.
Eubank Jr. and Benn fought back in April. The weight limit? 160 pounds. When Eubank Jr. stepped on the scales, he weighed 160.05 pounds. The extra weight cost him a whopping $500,000 fine. Eubank Jr. went on to win the first bout by unanimous decision, but it cost him a hefty half a million bucks before the bell even rang.
It's no wonder that, this time around, Eubank Jr. tweeted, "Ain't no way I'm missing weight this time" for the rematch.
And it worked.
During Friday's weigh-in, Eubank Jr. stepped on the scales and weighed 159.1 pounds, while Benn weighed 159.3 pounds, respectively.
Eubank Jr. has a 35-3 record with 25 wins by knockout. Benn is 23-1 with 14 wins by knockout.
