‘Mount Rushmore’: Crawford says beating Canelo makes him an all-time great
Terence Crawford will take his shot at fighting Canelo Alvarez for his 168 lb crown this fall.
Following yesterday’s New York press conference, Terence Crawford spoke a little more to Fight Hype about how big a win it would be for him to beat Canelo Alvarez considering where he started his career.

“We got two legends fighting each other and I’m definitely daring to be great, and I’m going to be great September 13th.
“I’m not taking no credit away from Canelo’s skills. A lot of people they only talk about his power but he’s very skillful in there and he’s respected.”
On who has the pressure in this fight
“The pressure on both of us. We both have different type of pressure that we up against and we gonna handle it professionally.”
On what a win over Canelo means for his career
“It’s going to put me up there, Mount Rushmore. And I’m looking forward to become the first three-time male undisputed champion in three different weight classes.”
Crawford will have his chance to make history this September 13 when he challenges Canelo Alvarez for his undisputed super middleweight crown, streaming live on Netflix.
