Joey Essex puts his £3m Essex mansion up for rent as he QUITS Britain for a year at boxing training camp
JOEY Essex is quitting Britain for high-powered boxing training camps ahead of his first fight.
The TV star has listed his £3m mansion for rent at a whopping £10,000 a month as he intends to be out of the country for most of the year.
After vowing to take a break from reality telly, Joey, 34, is vying to become king of the ring with a number of huge names in talks to become his opposition including rapper KSI, Jake Paul and Youtube boxer Deji Olatunji in a huge, marquee fight.
So the lad has signed up to intensive gyms in Dubai and LA to further his progress.
It comes after he was spotted with a mystery girl in Ibiza as he took a break with friends before knuckling down to training.
Fans snapped Joey and the woman on a balcony at ME Ibiza hotel.
Back at home the property, which has been listed with Durden and Hunt, features a swimming pool which is surrounded by palm trees, a walk-in wardrobe as well as five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The mansion is decked out with tasteful panelling, marble surfaces and plush leather sofas.
It’s even featured on famous home snoop show, MTV Cribs.
Joey’s pivot to the ring isn’t as unlikely as it might seem.
He is the nephew to esteemed British trainer Tony Sims, who once coached Anthony Joshua and currently works with Conor Benn.
Celebrity promoters Misfits Boxing are behind Joey’s big fight and co-founder of Misfits Boxing, Mams Taylor, has spoken about Joey’s hopes in the ring before.
He said: “Joey’s got family background in boxing so I think he’s excited to get in the ring and we’re excited to have him.
“Joey’s going to be very committed, we’ve spoken daily for the last few days and he’s really on it.”
