Ex-UFC heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlines Dirty Boxing 2
Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s first assignment since parting ways with the UFC is set.
Promotional officials confirmed to MMA Fighting in a release that Rozenstruik faces Devon Schwan in the main event of Dirty Boxing 2, which takes place June 14 in Miami. The card will stream for free on the Dirty Boxing YouTube channel.
“Bigi Boi” competed 15 times inside the UFC’s octagon, finishing his promotional run with victories in two of his past three bouts. In his final UFC bout, Rozenstruik dropped a unanimous decision to Sergei Pavlovich at UFC Saudi Arabia in February, and then was released by the promotion.
Schwan has competed for both Power Slap and BKFC, earning a 64 second knockout win at BKFC Kansas City this past August.
30-fight UFC veteran Alex Caceres will make his promotional debut in the co-main event as he faces fellow UFC veteran Saidyokub Kakhramonov. The rest of the main card includes a matchup between Alex Nicholson and Rob Perez, Jessica-Rose Clark facing Marilia Moraias, and Phil Hawes battling Sasha Palatnikov.
BKFC star Mike Perry is the lead promoter for the organization, while current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones is a co-owner of Dirty Boxing.
