Jack Catterall vs Harlem Eubank official for July 5
Jack Catterall vs Harlem Eubank is official.
Jack Catterall will look to bounce back from his February loss to Arnold Barboza Jr, while Harlem Eubank will look to become a legitimate contender in a July 5 main event from Manchester, England.
Catterall vs Eubank will stream live on DAZN. The fight will see Catterall move up to welterweight.
Catterall (30-2, 13 KO) probably should have become undisputed world champion at 140 lbs back in 2022, when he lost a massively controversial decision to Josh Taylor. After the rematch was delayed for over two years, Catterall got officially level with Taylor about a year ago, then beat Regis Prograis in October 2024 before his loss to Barboza.
Eubank (21-0, 9 KO) is a 31-year-old fighter who has been held at a certain level for a few years now, and has, being honest, never been seen as a serious emerging contender or even prospect in his younger days. But he has won the fights he’s had, most recently dominating Tyrone McKenna on March 7 in Brighton, and he’s scored stoppages in three of his last four outings.
It’s a sink-or-swim sort of matchup for Eubank, and for Catterall a chance to get back in the win column and boast that he’s beaten an undefeated guy whose last name is “Eubank.”
