Alalshikh partners with TKO Group to start new boxing promotional company
Turki Alalshikh teams up with Dana White to create new boxing company.
Today Turki Alalshikh made a public announcement that he has joined forces with TKO to form a new boxing promotion — although the name of the entity hasn’t specifically been revealed. The new boxing promotional company will be headed by UFC’s Dana White and WWE president Nick Khan, as reported by ESPN.
“This landmark partnership between industry powerhouses sets the stage for an unparalleled experience for boxers and fans,” Alalshikh said. “Together, we are developing the next generation of talent and delivering world-class events at a time when the sport is primer for further disruption.”
White has long made known his interest in getting into the business of boxing, but says he felt the sport to be too broken to enter until Alalshikh came along and got involved. Alalshikh says that he and White share a vision in a league they will be creating, and he expects it to soon ‘crush everything’ in terms of rival businesses.
Today marks a new chapter in boxing history. I’m thrilled about this great partnership with those I consider the best for the sport. Together, we will elevate it to new heights. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/uuXhpDYffy

In a public statement released online by Alalshikh it is said that the new promotion will include a ‘highly structured system to develop new talent from around the world, including athlete combines and academies’ as well as provide access for all boxers to the UFC Performance Institute.
More information about the endeavor is expected to be provided in the coming months as Alalshikh looks to consolidate and reimagine the business of boxing.
