Love Island’s Curtis takes savage swipe at Ekin-Su’s ex Davide and offers him boxing match for ‘not treating her well’
LOVE Island star Curtis Pritchard has taken a savage swipe at Ekin-Su’s ex Davide – and offered him a boxing match for ‘not treating her well.’
Reality TV star Ekin, 30, reached the final of this year’s Love Island All Stars alongside her dancer boyfriend, just two and a half years after taking the crown on the show alongside ex, Davide Sanclimenti.
And Ekin-Su and Davide, 30, were one of the most high-profile couples to have appeared on Love Island.
Davide famously accused his partner of being a “liar” and an “actress”, but the pair managed to make it to the end of the show – and WIN.
The pair decided to call it quits in 2023 before briefly reconciling.
They then broke up again, for the final time, in January 2024 with Ekin-Su breaking the news on Instagram.
Ekin and her new boyfriend Curtis have been going from strength to strength since meeting on All Stars, and now Curtis has had a thing or two to say about her famous ex.
Being interviewed at a boxing event, the interviewer asks: “Do you have any names of people you would like to call out?”
Curtis replies: “I’ve got a couple but I’m not gonna say everyone.
“But I’ll give you two names. Sammy from my series of Love Island just gone, because I know that he boxes and so I know that he would perhaps look to do it.
“And then Davide, which is Ekin’s ex, because I know he never treated her well, so that would be an interesting one.”
It comes after Ekin took a swipe at Davide as she updated fans on her and Curtis’ next chapter.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the reality TV icon shared a candid selfie of her and Curtis on a sofa together as she gave the update on their living situation.
Responding to a fan question on if they would move in together, Ekin replied: “Not yet lovelies. Luckily, we don’t live too far away from each other and we can spend 3-7 days of the week together if we are not travelling.
“it’s healthy and working well for us and when the right time comes we will plan accordingly.”
Ekin then appeared to take a thinly-veiled jab at Davide as she referenced the “mistake” of moving in with a partner too soon.
The TV beauty and her Italian ex famously moved in together just weeks after winning Love Island as they began staying in a luxury apartment with each other after Ekin became an instant millionaire thanks to her £1.1million Oh Polly fashion contract.
Continuing the post, she wrote: “I don’t want to make the same mistakes that I made in the past.
“Also, no pressure from you guys will be appreciated.”
