Dmitry Bivol looks to improve upon his performance in this weekend’s rematch with Artur Beterbiev.

During the grand arrivals for this weekend’s light heavyweight title rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmity Bivol, Bivol spends some time talking to Fight Hub TV about this chance to avenge his loss while touching on a couple of other topics. Check out some excerpts of what he had to say below.

Bivol on his expectations for Beterbiev rematch this weekend

“I’m expecting very good fight, not less interesting than first fight. And I believe in my skills. I hope I will do all my best and I will be better than last time.

“I think it will be more action (than in the first fight). More active and actions.”

On if he has to close the fight better in this rematch

“I have to do it not only last rounds, I have to do it all fight.

“I was thinking about generally, I have to do not just one punch more or one round more. I have to be better, I have to win each round without a doubt.”

On if Beterbiev is the biggest puncher he’s ever faced

“No, I got harder punches but the people also put more effort than him...You know, Pascal also is very sharp punches. Joe Smith is also heavy puncher, you know, like slow, heavy. Canelo also is hard puncher but he’s putting more effort than Beterbiev.”

On what path to victory Terence Crawford has to take to beat Canelo

“Just need to do his job, what he’s doing well. He’s changing his stance, he’s moving a lot, he’s keeping distance. Like this, he could win. Not with (exchanging) punches him.”
