KSI set for talks with ex-champ Amir Khan, 38, but ‘son of Brit boxing legend in line to fight YouTube star next’
KSI could revisit talks with British boxing legend Amir Khan after a deal to fight collapsed last year.
Khan, 38, retired in 2022 following a defeat to bitter rival Kell Brook.

An independent tribunal accepted Khan’s argument that he did not knowingly take the substance – ruling out “deliberate or reckless conduct”.
The former light-welterweight world champion then emerged as a shock name to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI last year.
But KSI’s manager Mams Taylor revealed a deal could not be struck – although he remains hopeful it can come together at some point.
He told Jamal Niaz: “I think it’s a possibility at some point. Amir and I spoke, very good guy, very respectful funny guy.
“And then when some of his representatives and ours started talking it started going a bit left.
“And I think we can bring it back and some point and figure it out.
“But it was a good start, rough middle, let’s see if we can finish it at some point.

“But I think that’s a fight that the public would love to see and something we would love to make happen at some point.”
KSI, 31, has not returned since suffering defeat for the first time, losing a controversial decision to Tommy Fury, 25, in October 2023.
He was due to face MMA fighter Anthony Taylor, 35, and Misfits boxer Slim Albaher, 30, in a wild two-on-one bout.
But KSI was forced to pull out with a hand injury.
According to Fred Beck, he is now in talks to face ex-sparring partner and 9-2 boxer Harley Benn next.
Benn, 28, is the son of British boxing legend Nigel and brother of unbeaten welterweight Conor, also 28.
