Tommy Fury says he has pulled out of Misfits Boxing match over Darren Till's kick threats, Till responds
It appears Tommy Fury has pulled out of his boxing match against Darren Till.
Fury (10-0) was scheduled to face Till (0-0) at a Misfits Boxing event Jan. 18 at Co-op Live in Manchester, United Kingdom. During their heated press conference, Till threatened to kick Fury in the head if he’s down on the scorecards during their fight.
And apparently Fury took his threat seriously?
“I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I am now not fighting Darren Till on Jan. 18 2025,” Fury wrote in an Instagram story. “For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules, and that if he is losing the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics.”
Till has been left baffled by Fury’s withdrawal. He claims the kicking threats were merely mental warfare and his attempt to sell the fight.
“For years the Furys have bullied people at press conferences,” Till said in a video on “X.” “Fury head butted people from Usyk’s team, he punched glass when he was fighting KSI, he’s tried to intimidate everyone, and it worked up until now. But as I said, it was never going to work with me, and I bullied them at the press conference.
“Now John was leaving the press conference saying they were pulling out because of my tactics that I was saying I was going to use. It’s all mental warfare, I don’t need to kick Tommy Fury in the head to beat him. I was going to absolutely box his head off and knock him flat out. You’s have showed you his true colors. Fighting family, my arse.”

An angry Till continued to rant, and turned his attention to Jake Paul.
“Tommy Fury u are the biggest sh*thouse I have ever met in my life do not ever call yourself a fighter again. I was selling the fight to make me and you more money you absolute empty head fighting family my ass you and ur dad sh*thouses. I don’t need to throw kicks you was getting knocked spark out you divvy. We was making bank on this fight because of me not you. I was building it. You should be fighting and should be thanking me… over and out… no one wants to fight me… Jake Paul what are you up to you big fat dummy?”
