UFC Fight Pass, 12:30 pm ET, Callum Walsh vs Przemyslaw Runowski. A Tom Loeffler show from Dublin, Ireland. Ali Akhmedov features on the undercard.
DAZN, 1:00 pm ET, Sikho Nqothole vs Jafet Amukwa. A show out of Johannesburg, South Africa with the promotional title: “Xplosive.” So accurate, it blasted the “E” clean off, it did!
ESPN, 5:50 pm ET, Jaime Munguia vs Erik Bazinyan. Munguia back in action for the first time since his loss to Canelo. Bazinyan probably isn’t even the best super middleweight in French Canada, but he has successfully protected his “0” through 33 fights and presumably finally got himself paid well enough to put it at serious risk. Emiliano Vargas on the undercard, and Richard Torrez finally steps up to take on the challenge of… Joey Dawejko. Torrez won that silver medal 1,139 days before this fight, for anyone wondering. Saturday, Sep. 21
DAZN PPV, 10:30 am ET, Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois. From Wembley in London, for the now-vacant IBF heavyweight title. Liam Smith is off the undercard, but Hamzah Sheeraz is still here, fighting for a European belt! Anthony Cacace defends his IBF (and IBO) 130 lbs. title against Josh Warrington, and Joshua Buatsi fights Willy Hutchinson for an interim WBO light heavyweight belt. BLH will have live updates.
ESPN+, 8:00 pm ET, Jose Teran vs Yehison Cuello. A bantamweight fight out of Naucalpan, Mexico. Not on BoxRec yet, and no undercard details I could find. But, I think this is happening at an arena that hosts luchador wrestling every Thursday and Sunday. Maybe these guys will ringwalk in one of those masks!
