A rematch nearly five years in the making finally took place at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal ran it back inside the boxing ring, a second meeting between the two UFC veterans after their first fight for the inaugural BMF title fight at UFC 244 in November 2019. Masvidal won the first meeting by doctor’s stoppage due to a large cut above Diaz’s eye.
The second chapter in the rivalry was written Saturday, and Diaz got one back in boxing, winning a majority decision.
