Ortega withdrew due to illness in the hours leading up to his scheduled co-main event, and the promotion somehow got Ige (19-8 MMA, 10-7 UFC) to step in as a replacement against Lopes (24-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC) on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and he got the job done by METHOD.
It’s one of the wildness developments in UFC history, but in the end, Lopes’ winning streak hit three consecutive fights.
