‘He can’t control his emotions’: Taylor confident he’s got the edge over Catterall

Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall both look to settle the score with one another in this weekend’s rematch.

Heading into this weekend’s rematch between Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall, Matchroom Boxing and DAZN release behind the scenes footage of the entire build-up to this sequel which has been delayed several times.

Taylor, who won a controversial decision over Catterall in the first meeting, will have the opportunity to prove himself the superior fighter while Catterall looks to score a decisive victory and vindicate himself as the better man.

The press events leading into this May 25 rematch have been pretty feisty with it being more than clear that these two genuinely aren’t fond of one another, but the official score will be settled on the weekend.

“I just don’t think Jack’s very comfortable in these situations,” Taylor says. “He can’t control his emotions.”

Catterall, for his part would express his desire to put a beatdown on Taylor and make this one crystal clear.

“I want to beat him in every way possible,” Catterall says. “I want to make it slow and painful but I also want to knock him out cold.”
