Two Filipino warriors will be back in action in the midst of the pandemic as lightweight prospect Mark Bernaldez (W20 KO14 L4 D0) and welterweight James Bacon (W23 KO15 L4 D0) fight on US soil on October 17. Bernaldez will face Ezequiel Tevez (W13 L5 D4) while Bacon will fight Gonzalo Dallera (W6 L8 D0). Both opponents are warriors from Argentina. The event will be held at the Airtime Center Miami Florida and is promoted by M&R Promotions.

Bernaldez and Bacon have been training hard in Florida under the tutelage of Cuban trainer Moro Hernandez. Both fighters couldn’t contain their excitement as they both come out of hibernation due to the COVID pandemic.

Bernaldez for one expressed his joy in being able to see action again. “I am so blessed to fight again. Many boxers badly want to fight but do not have the opportunity. I never stopped training here in Florida  and am confident to bring another win. I always dedicate my fights for my country and for my team Sanman, M&R and Moro”, Bernaldez stated.

Bacon is just as ecstatic in having the chance to shine again. “ I will make sure I get another win to help my climb in the rankings and get bigger fights. Training under coach Moro has been a great benefit to my boxing skills. I am in the best shape and will try to show it come fight night”, Bacon said.
