Boxing Raise schedule for August released

0 24
The Boxing Raise service is one that we have made really great use of since it first began several years ago, and something we suggest every fight fan takes a look at, as a gateway to Japanese boxing. The combination of live streaming and Video on Demand service is brilliant and the depth in their content library is deep enough to get lost in.

Sadly not all months are great for the service and the month of August is certainly nor looking like one of their best, though is still a respectable offering.

The bad news is that there is no card set to get a live broadcast and that there is only 4 news shows set to be added on the service during August. They are both genuinely disappointing bits of news, with the lack of a live card really one of the biggest set backs.

On the other hand the quality of the shows they have this month is really outstanding.

The first card they will be adding the August 4th Green Tsuda promoted card from Osaka, which featured 2 title bouts as well as a rising Thai prospect and a former Japanese champion. They will then add the low level Dangan 4 round show from August 6th, a pretty low profile show that is likely to deliver plenty of action and excitement.

Sadly their is over 2 weeks without a new show, with that break ending with the August 23rd Kadoebi promoted Slugfest card, which will feature an OPBF Flyweight title bout, a very good support bout and a pair of notable debutants. Just days later we will then get Dangan Trigger, which has a trio notable bouts, including 2 Japanese Youth title tournament bouts and a mouth watering B class tournament bout.

It's certainly not the best month, but it's not a write off either, especially for those who typically use the service for their on demand content.
