Tomorrow at the iconic Korakuen Hall fans will get the chance to see Kenichi Ogawa (23-1-0-1, 17) [尾川 堅一] take on Filipino visitor Glenn Medura (10-5-1, 6), in what is essentially a tune up bout for Ogawa ahead of a showdown with South African Azinga Fuzile (14-0, 8) later in the year.

Today, ahead of their bout, the two men took part in their weigh in both looked great on the scales, for what is expected to be a huge mismatch in favour of the popular local hopeful.

On the scales Ogawa was the heavier man, weighing in at 129.4lbs, and he looked in great shape and insanely confident of not only picking up the win but also the stoppage in the bout.

Medura on the other hand was way under the limit, weighing just 126.5lbs. Medura spoke a good fight, and suggested he was there for the upset. The reality however is that expected to be little more than a tune up before Ogawa faces Fuzile in September, on a rescheduled date.
