Eruka Hiromoto has opponent named for first OPBF title defense!

0 5
Back in June 18 year old Eruka Hiromoto (5-0) [廣本江留香] won her first title, the OPBF female Minimumweight title. After the win it was later revealed that she would be defending the belt on November 10th, though it now appears that plans have changed, slightly, with the full details of her first defense now being made public.

Our Japanese sources have revealed that her first defense has been pushed back 1 week, to November 17th, and will see the champion taking on #2 ranked challenger
Sana Hazuki (7-4-1, 2) [葉月さな].

On paper this isn't an amazing defense, but it's a solid one for a young champion who is still developing and is still very, very young and inexperienced. She's risking her title against someone who has twice fought for the Japanese Atomweight title and has clearly proven she can fight at title level, and actually gave the very highly touted Eri Matsuda a close bout in Matsuda's debut.

The venue for the bout will be in Yamaguchi, with the Iwakuni City Gymnasium seeming like it will host the bout, and the card has also got WBO Asia Pacific Light Flyweight ranked fighter Taiyo Inoue (8-5-2, 5) [井上 太陽] pencilled in for it.
