Joshua: Chisora is going to whoop Whyte

0 14

Anthony Joshua hopes to see Dereck Chisora put a beating on Dillian Whyte this weekend.

Unified heavyweight titleholder Anthony Joshua doesn’t hide his feelings about this weekend’s grudge match between Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora, telling Sky Sports that he hopes to see Chisora take care of the business.

“I think Derek is going to whoop Dillian. I want him to,” Joshua told Sky Sports.

“I want Chisora to win. I don’t want too much good for Dillian because he’s an enemy of mine. But I want Dillian to win as well, so we can have our rematch.”

Joshua continues by saying that he believes this fight will be a little more technical than the first slugfest between Whyte and Chisora, with both fighters being slightly more cautious due to the beating they put on one another in late 2016.

Of course the fans will hope otherwise, expecting sparks to fly in this weekend’s battle between two rival heavyweights who don’t particularly like one another. And with the winner of Whyte-Chisora 2 very likely be in the running to land an April 13 fight with Joshua himself, that could provide even a little more motivation for them to lay it all on the line.
