Whenever there’s a big pay-per-view on HBO — in this case, literally their first one all year — the “24/7” preview series makes an appearance. On this occasion, it’s the rematch between unified WBA and WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) and Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs), a year removed from their split draw.

Gennady Golovkin vs. Canelo Alvarez 2 will take place on Saturday, September 15th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and airs live on HBO pay-per-view, with a special start time of 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. Also slated for the event is a WBO junior middleweight title bout between Jaime Munguia (30-0, 25 KOs) and Brandon Cook (20-1, 13 KOs), as well as middleweight sluggers David Lemieux (39-4, 33 KOs) and Spike O’Sullivan (28-2, 20 KOs).
