UK TV star Aaron Chalmers calls out Mike Jackson on Twitter

0

Bellator’s Aaron Chalmers got into a back-and-forth with Mike Jackson on social media.

If we’re to go off Dana White’s reaction from UFC 225, welterweight Mike Jackson, who beat CM Punk in the opening bout on the main card, will be exiting the promotion very shortly.

The good news for Jackson is that, despite possibly leaving the UFC on bad terms, ‘The Truth’ might just have another high-profile fight lined up under the Bellator banner.

On Saturday, UK reality TV star turned professional MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers, known for his role on Geordie Shore, called out Jackson on Twitter and also tagged Bellator CEO Scott Coker.

That’s when Jackson, 33, responded and triggered an entertaining back-and-forth with ‘The Joker.’

Jackson, who made his professional MMA debut in 2016, got in the last word by calling Chalmers a ‘British wanka.’

Chalmers, who made his Bellator debut last month at London’s SSE Arena, has also called for a fight with Kevin Ferguson Jr., eldest son of the late Kimbo Slice.

The Newcastle-born fighter has won all his fights in the first round and extended his professional record to 4-0 after submitting Ash Griffiths in the first round at Bellator 200.

If Jackson does, indeed, part ways with Ultimate Fighting Championship, a fight with Chalmers would make for an entertaining opening bout to kick off a stacked Bellator card.
