Manager: How can McGregor call Mayweather a ‘p-ssy’ when he’s the one that’s ducking fights?
MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz calls Conor McGregor a hypocrite.
Conor McGregor might have called Floyd Mayweather Jr. a ‘p-ssy’ for refusing to step foot in the Octagon, but renowned MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, who manages the likes of Frankie Edgar and Khabib Nurmagomedov, believes ‘The Notorious’ is the real coward for ducking top contenders and not defending any of his UFC titles.

Whilst it’s true McGregor hasn’t defended his title(s) (McGregor was stripped of the featherweight strap almost immediately after capturing the lightweight title at UFC 205), the Irishman has steamrolled through a who’s who of top fighters.
McGregor knocked out Jose Aldo in a record-breaking 13 seconds at UFC 194, and has also finished the likes of Eddie Alvarez, Chad Mendes and Dustin Poirier. The combat sports star also holds a win over current featherweight champion Max Holloway from 2013.
McGregor was choked out by Nate Diaz in a welterweight contest at UFC 196 but rebounded with a majority decision win in the PPV-smashing rematch at UFC 202.
After suffering a TKO loss to Mayweather in his professional boxing debut, McGregor, 29, has promised to return to the Octagon to defend his belt and legitimize the rankings, but the SBG Ireland product is currently embroiled in contract negotiations with UFC president Dana White.
In the past, McGregor did hint at a mega-fight with Abdelaziz’s Nurmagomedov, claiming that it would be a Rocky Balboa-like spectacle, especially in ‘The Eagle’s’ home country of Russia.
