Today is the fourth and final quarterfinal match-up in the World Boxing Super Series Cruiserweight tournament. Meeting here will be IBF champion Murat Gassiev and Poland’s Krzysztof Wlodarczyk.
Gassiev won the title in impressive fashion last time out with a victory over Denis Lebedev. He brings that title in to the tournament and the match-up here. Wlodarczyk is a former champion in the division, but he’s been largely inactive since losing the title a few years back. Gassiev is the likely favorite to make the finals from his side of the bracket - this fight is his first step on that path.
