Photos: Gary Russell Jr. makes weight on second try for Saturday's fight

Gary Russell Jr. needed two tries but made weight for his featherweight title defense against Mark Magsayo on Saturday in Atlantic City, New Jersey (Showtime).

Russell initially weighed 126.5, a half pound over the division limit, but he came in at 125.5 on his second attempt. Magsayo also weighed 125.5.

The weights for other featured fights are as follows:

Subriel Matias (140.5) vs. Petros Ananyan (141), junior welterweights. Tugstsogt Nyambayar (128) vs. Sakaria Lukas (127.5), featherweights.
