'SNL' Star Tries Bobsledding: 'I Swear to God I Thought I Was Going to Die'
It's time for non-Olympic athletes and celebrities to leave bobsledding to the professionals.
That's the hard lesson Jason Kelce already learned when he visited Park City, Utah, to train with Team USA.
Now it's Colin Jost's turn.
The Saturday Night Live star appeared during NBC's Olympics coverage and shared with studio host Mike Tirico that he went bobsledding and it was, no joke, a pretty horrifying experience.
Jost Thought He Was 'Going to Die'
"I went down the bobsled from start point one at the top with a very gifted driver, thankfully, Brian Berghorn, and I was not prepared for the level of terror of this bobsled," he said. "I swear to God, I thought I was going to die."
Video footage shows Jost hanging on for his dear life. He's also screaming like a madman who genuinely feels he's about to crash and have his body torn to literal pieces.
"I thought my back was gonna snap in half. I thought my bones were gonna fly off my body and be littered all up and down the bobsled track," he said. "It was by far the scariest experience I’ve ever had in my life."

Jason Kelce Also Went Bobsledding
The Philadelphia Eagles great echoed Jost's sentiments about bobsledding when he trained with Team USA.
"I thought it would be like a fun roller coaster, but man, was I wrong," he shared on his channel. “It started out quiet and smooth, but as we continued to pick up speed, the intensity got higher and higher. The turns bounced my shoulders and head like I was back on a football field, the noise of the sled got louder and louder, rattling as if the whole thing was falling apart."
Kelce said the bobsled topped out at 84 miles per hour, and "it felt like 1,400 lbs was pushing me into the bottom of the sled."
