I enjoy the Winter Olympics, but what I’d really like is spring to come a bit sooner

So why did I drive through snow and freezing cold to watch Spurs take on Juventus in Turin? I first became aware of the Winter Olympics back in 1964 when the BBC broadcast grainy black and white footage of Tony Nash and Robin Dixon surprising themselves and everyone else by winning the two-man bobsleigh gold in Innsbruck.
